Support
A person reads every email. Usually within a day.Email support@kuttable.com. If it is about a cut that went wrong, say what the video was like (how long, how many clips, roughly what happened) and we can usually see why. If it is about billing, say whether you bought in the app or on the website.
Cancel a subscription
Bought in the app on iPhone (Apple)
- Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Kuttsy, then Cancel Subscription.
- You keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for. Apple handles refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Bought in the app on Android (Google Play)
- Open the Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Tap Kuttsy, then Cancel subscription.
- You keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds follow Google Play’s policy; request one from your order history at play.google.com.
Bought on kuttable.com (Stripe)
- Open the receipt email from your purchase and follow the Manage subscription link. You can cancel, change plan or update your card there.
- No receipt? Email us from the address you paid with and we send the link.
- Within 14 days of your first charge, we refund it if you ask. After that, cancelling stops the next charge and you keep the plan until the end of the period.
Restore a purchase
If you reinstalled the app or got a new phone and your plan is missing: open Kuttsy, go to Profile, tap Restore purchases, and the plan comes back with the same Apple ID or Google account.
If you subscribed on the website, sign in to the app with the same email, Apple ID or Google account you used to buy, and the plan is there.
Delete your account
In the app: Profile → Delete account. It removes your account, your sign-in details and your whole cut history, and cannot be undone. Your videos in your phone’s gallery are not touched. A subscription bought on kuttable.com ends with the account; one bought from Apple or Google Play keeps running until you cancel it there, so cancel it first.
If you cannot get into the app, email us from the address on the account and we delete it for you; the deletion page has the details.
Common questions
The cut removed something I wanted
Open the cut from the home screen. On the timeline, tap the + on any join to bring back what was removed there, or drag the ends of a clip to trim it. Then save again. The original video in Photos is never changed.
The saved video looks different from the original
It shouldn’t. Kuttsy keeps the resolution, frame rate and HDR of the recording. If a 4K or HDR video came back at lower quality, email us with the phone model and its OS version; that’s a bug we want to know about.
It said a clip couldn’t be cut
Usually the video is still downloading from iCloud or Google Photos, has no sound, or is in a format the phone cannot read. Wait for the download, or try a different video. If it keeps happening with videos from your own camera, email us.
Where is my cut?
In Photos on an iPhone, in Recents, or in the Gallery on Android, next to the original. The home screen in Kuttsy keeps a card for each cut so you can reopen or re-save it; the app itself keeps no copy of the video.
Does it work on Android?
Yes. Kuttsy is on Google Play as well as the App Store, with the same plans. A plan bought in one store is restored in the app by signing in with the same account.
Report a bug
Email the steps, what you expected and what happened, and the phone model. A screen recording helps more than anything.
